Dr. Brown is a PENN-trained sleep physician who takes a comprehensive approach to treating conditions that affect sleep in children and adults. We currently offer in-person visits in Pennsylvania and virtual visits for clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California.

Direct specialty care means you get DIRECT ACCESS to me or my assistant. No middlemen! Families who need me can send me secure messages via the patient portal with a response within 24 hours.

This allows me to practice medicine that aligns with my values. I can take as long as I need to support your sleep journey, including care coordination with your physician and other team members. I currently see patients via telehealth but also offer in-person visits in the PA.

We are in network with specific insurances (Aetna, High Mark, IBC and Cigna). If we are out of network with your insurance, you have the option to pay out of pocket. New patient 60-minute visits are $400, and follow-up 30-minute visits are $275. Our 6-session insomnia program is $2100. We are happy to provide a superbill upon request which you can submit to your insurance.

Our 6-session insomnia treatment program, spanning 6-8 weeks, offers a comprehensive sleep assessment, personalized sleep strategy development, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia techniques, relaxation and stress management skills, sleep hygiene education and medication management. Progress tracking and adjustments will be provided with supportive materials and coaching. You have direct access to our team via text and email and free access to our sleep tracking platform for monitoring progress and personalized sleep schedule.

Yes! We currently have a hybrid model and are in network with some insurances (Aetna, IBC, High Mark, and Cigna). For out-of-network insurance, you would pay our cash price and we provide you with a super bill to submit to your insurance company.

We see children and adults from infancy to adulthood. Dr Brown is one of the few specialists in the world with unique expertise in pediatric sleep medicine.

Yes, we prescribe sleep medications. However, our goal at The Restful Sleep Place is to offer you holistic sleep solutions to decrease your reliance on sleep medications. We use supplements as needed also.

I work three days a week, seeing clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California. My services are currently via telemedicine with in-person option in Pennsylvania.

I welcome collaborating with other professionals working with you to provide the best care possible for your child and your family. A release of information must be signed before these conversations happen, including discussing what you would/would not like disclosed about your child's care. Please bring the other professionals' contact information with you to our session, and we will complete the release together.
